Evolis Printer Superstore Upgrades Selected Evolis Warranties

All Evolis printers purchased through EPS come with an upgraded warranty to include a field loaner during the warranty period. The dealer must contact EPS Technical Support for diagnosis. If Technical Support is unable to solve the problem over the phone AND it is determined that the printer needs to be returned to EPS for repair, EPS will ship out a loaner unit to either the dealer or the end user’s address as long as the address is in the USA and serviceable via UPS. If the determination is made before EPS’s normal shipping cutoff, every effort will be made to ship out the loaner unit that same day. The unit will be shipped overnight for delivery next business day and EPS will cover the outbound freight.

An RMA number will be issued for the printer needing repair and the customer will ship the unit to EPS as instructed. The customer must cover the freight costs for this shipment. When the unit is repaired, EPS will ship the unit back to the dealer or end user as instructed via regular ground freight at EPS’s cost. A UPS call tag will be included with the repaired unit for use in returning the loaner to EPS at EPS’s cost.

Step-by-Step Process

1)	Contact EPS Tech Support at 1-800-952-1457 for diagnosis and troubleshooting. You will be asked to describe the problem in detail.
2)	EPS Tech Support determines if the unit is under warranty (pending physical examination) and if it needs to be returned to EPS for repair.
3)	EPS issues an RMA and instructions for the return of the failed unit which the customer ships out. EPS organizes the shipment of a replacement unit.
4)	The failed unit is repaired and returned with a call tag.
5)	The customer returns the loaner using the call tag.

The unit must be returned in good working order. Any required repairs will be assessed to the customer’s account. EPS will not replace lost call tags and will not cover freight costs of the return if the call tag is not used. EPS will make best efforts to provide a loaner with the same features and options available in the existing printer. If this is not available alternatives will be discussed with the customer. The customer’s account must be current and in good standing with the sufficient credit and repayment history to cover the loaner printer at the time it is requested or the loaner request may not be granted.
